Hello Family members:

The Gulfport Branch of the Woods Family Reunion met on the above date at the home of Dot & Joe Robert. Members present were Joe Joe & Shirley Roberts, Purvis & Jackie McBride, Joe Robert, Willie M. Potts, Ricco Hull, Yvonne King, Alesia Hoffman and Paul Robert. Members present agreed that because of the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, that we would not have the reunion this year and hold it next year in July.

If there are any family member that would like to come to the coast in July you are more than welcome to do so, but we can’t guarantee you Hotel accommodations. There is still at lot of work to be done and there are limited hotel rooms available. Some of the Casinos are open with hotels if you would like to check with them. They are Isle of Capri, (1800THEISLE), Imperial Palace (1888-win AT IP)& the PALACE (228.432.8888 or website www.palacecasinoresort.com).

We will continue to have meetings and keep everyone inform on our progress.
